Does it matter if you get questions wrong on aceable? ›

It doesn't affect your grade or ability to pass the course. We explain the correct answer if you get the question wrong, so be sure to pay attention!

Periodically, you'll be asked to answer an identity verification question. From the website, click the correct answer within 60 seconds and you'll be able to move on. If you fail the question, you'll be asked another question immediately.

We break this up into 12 levels. Level 1 is 6 hours long, while Levels 2 through 12 are 2 hours each. TDLR limits you to working on the course for a maximum of 6 hours per day. We don't stop you in the course, so you will need to pace yourself with a timer to make sure you don't complete too much in one day.

These are proctored exams, meaning that computer software is used to administer, monitor and score the tests.

If you fail a level assessment, you can take it again. There is no limit on how many times you can take a level assessment and you don't have to pay again to take a level assessment more than once.

After completion of the road test, you will be given a sealed envelope to take the DPS to get your driver's license. If you fail the test, you must wait 24-hours before rescheduling your next test. There will be no additional charge to retest.

Does Aceable expire in Texas? ›

There is not an expiration date on your Aceable certificate, however, your written test score is only good for two years.

A double solid yellow line indicates that there is absolutely no passing or crossing the double solid yellow line at any time. Shifting into another lane or attempting to pass another vehicle is not allowed when a double solid yellow line is present.

If your result is invalid due to a broken test rule, and you do not receive an email saying your account is blocked, you may retake the test. Certain broken rules allow you to test again at no additional cost if you still have attempts remaining on the credit.

You must score at least 75% or better (at least 8 out of 10 questions correct) in order to pass and go on to the next level. If you fail a level assessment, you can take it again.
