At its base retail price of over $400, this monitor is kind of a hard sell. In our review we called the Omen 16 "a fine gaming laptop without any major flaws," commenting that the only strike against it was that the price wasn't competitive. It looks like HP heard us, because for Memorial Day they've slashed $450 off of the unit, making it a lot more attractive. With a sleek and portable build, it's easy to carry around and has decent battery life.
